How to Reset a Logitech Mouse on a Dell Scroll Touchpad

If you are using a Logitech mouse with your Dell laptop, you can reset it using the laptop's scroll pad. When the mouse isn't working, the drivers can be reset using the built-in Dell scroll touchpad. Even though the mouse that comes with the laptop has all the functions of an external mouse, you can add a Logitech mouse if you wish by connecting it to the computer via a USB port.
1.Disconnect the Logitech mouse from your computer. Click "Start," type "device manager" into the search bar, and then click "Device Manager" from the search results.
2.Click "Mice and Other Pointing Devices." Right-click on the driver for your Logitech mouse and select "Uninstall." Click "OK."
3.Launch a Web browser and navigate to the Logitech Mice page (link in Resources).
4.Scroll through the list to find your mouse. Click on the name of the Logitech mouse you are resetting.
5.Click "Support" and select "Downloads." Choose your operating system and the version of the driver you need from the drop-down menus. Click "Download Software."
6.Click on the EXE file that you downloaded and follow the prompts to install the Logitech drivers. Reconnect the mouse.
